Gay Marriage and A Photographer.

I receive these questions a lot. " Do you photograph same sex marriages?" " How do you feel, when you photograph same sex marriages?"

My answers are always quite simple. I don't care much for controversy, especially in this state. It's bad for business.. at least that's what my theory as been...until today.

Today, I'm going to address these questions.

I live and run a photography business in Connecticut. Connecticut happens to allow same sex marriages and rightfully so! I'm honored to live in such a state. Anyone, who knows me, knows that I'm an equal rights activist. Is that something that I advertise through my business?...no..

Is it something that I advertise through photographs? Absolutely, but you have to have an open mind and pay attention to the statements that I produce.

Now, lets get back to the original question. "Do you photograph same sex marriages?"

My answer is yes, I do photograph same sex weddings.

Love is Love..Period.

My job isn't to judge or critique or ask questions.

My job, my passion, is to produce photographs of this love...this history...the story behind the love.

Genuine expressionism is human art. That's what I capture.

Human emotions is what I want the viewer to feel.

Memories are what I want my clients to obtain.

The second question; "How do you feel when you photograph same sex marriages?"

My answer...I think I just explained it in answer number 1.

Happy Marriages and lotsa love!!
